Why I love Florida

Florida has many great things going it. As I said before, I have never looked back since moving here and today I thought I’d share with you some of the things I love about Florida. I do not seem to be the only one with the 3rd largest population of any state in the USA!

Now the first thing I love about Florida is the beaches. We boast the best beaches in the USA and potential the best in the world… yet to check them all myself.

On top of the great beaches, we also have 10 months of great weather to enjoy them! Good to have the two month break I say 🙂

Another reason is the theme parks. We have the best theme parks in the world. You can find anything you look for in a theme park at any one of our parks. The incredible hulk rollercoaster is my personal favorite.

The thing I love most though is the people. All of the things that make you love Florida is also creating a great atmosphere with happy residents which therefore means happier neighbours. I love he people here, even is very friendly and there is a real community feel in most places even with the whole state being so large.

Becoming more confident

Many of us want to get a jump start in life. We want to be more capable, stronger, etc. While it’s true we can always improve our skills and abilities, and any of these can be beneficial, I’d bet that every single one of us can benefit from confidence building.

A confidence-building approach can change our outlook on relationships, career, education, and any other aspect of our lives. It can help us to fulfill our personal goals and keep us from straying from our chosen path. Consider what confidence-building is and why it is so important.

Confidence building begins with looking at our strengths and areas of opportunity. We can use confidence building to improve all the factors that we can make an impact on a personal relationship, our work, our education, our work environment, and our health. Take a look at this great blog about confidence building here.

Let’s get started:

  • Assess Your Strengths. Keep a list of all the things you are exceptional at. Think of things that are related to your professional life. Try to think of your most recent employment, even if it was a short job. Use the list to discover new opportunities that you may want to try.
  • Recognize Your Strengths. Think about the things that have guided your success in the past and all that has helped you become successful. For example, perhaps you may have worked very hard in an operation over the weekend and you were the top salesperson in the team. Once you identify these traits, the next work step is to emulate them. It takes enthusiasm and drive to reach achievement. You may decide to begin developing this by coaching a colleague that you admire. Reflect on your successes along with lessons learned. Take a look at this blog on becoming more confident for more information on the workplace.
  • Confront Others. The people around you can affect your confidence level in a major way. Take the time to share all your fears and talk about any issues you are having. You will realize that you do not have to be perfect, or deal with everything that comes along each day; however, you can really accelerate in those areas that you find hard to handle.
